Kesha showcased a statement look that undoubtedly had heads turning on the streets of New York City on Thursday. The pop star was seen exiting the Empire State Building after her lighting ceremony to promote her upcoming album, “Period,” set to drop this summer on July 4. She donned garters affixed to her barely-there shorts and black thigh-high boots. Kesha sported an over-the-knee style crafted in supple leather with pointed toe poking out from underneath a pant-like shaft. The foldover boots, complete with skinny stiletto heels, are similar to silhouettes from luxury brands like Givenchy, Balmain, Alexandre Vauthier, and Balenciaga. They’re a more affordable version made of faux leather, though, from Azalea Wang. The dramatic, wader-like style includes the suspenders. Kesha added a touch of playfulness to her edgy ensemble by topping things off with a faux fur Jean Paul Gaultier chapka hat
