With the arrival of LeBron James and Deion Sanders’ Nike LeBron 21 “Prime ’93” sneakers just around the corner, another hybrid sneaker from the two sports superstars is joining in on the action. In addition to Sanders’ first Air Diamond Turf model, elements of the former dual-sport star’s third sneaker, the Air DT Max ’96, will also be featured atop the tooling of James’ LeBron 21 model. First debuted by James himself during the 2024 NBA All-Star Game, the Nike LeBron 21 “Prime ’96” has been a long time coming and it’s finally set to be released before the end of the month. The mash-up model uses James’ 21st signature sneaker as its base, restructuring the upper to not only resemble but feature many of the same details seen on Sanders’ Air DT Max ’96. The latter’s distinct claw cut-outs allow the LeBron 21’s Flywire cable wraps to peek through.
