Guillaume Ledieu has been named senior vice president, chief technology officer at REI Co-op. Ledieu, who joined the specialty outdoor retail giant in October 2023, will assume the role effective immediately. He is succeeding Dan Shull, who REI stated will exit the company on July 12 for a new opportunity. “I am thrilled to announce Guillaume’s promotion to senior vice president, chief technology officer,” REI president and chief executive officer Eric Artz said in a statement. “Guillaume joined the co-op in 2023 as our vice president of foundation technology and has already had an incredible impact in his short time here. In his new role, Guillaume will be responsible for all technology at REI, delivering on current and future member, customer and employee needs, and helping to create a more modern and efficient REI.” Prior to joining REI, Ledieu was the vice president of business transformation at McCormick & Company, and held various other positions with the company for nearly 10 years.
