I feel like there hasn't been a great new fashion collab to get excited about in a while. And that's where H&M comes in. The retailer has just released the lookbook images from its upcoming collection with Simone Rocha, an indie Irish designer who's a darling of London Fashion Week. Rocha is known for her poufy dresses that are often adorned with frills, lace, tulle, embroidery, pearls, bows, and other precious touches. It's precisely this attention to detail that makes Rocha's H&M collab look so expensive. Mark your calendars: the collab will launch on March 11.
"Simone Rocha has been on the H&M wish-list for some time," H&M's creative advisor, Ann-Sofie Johansson, said in a statement. "This collaboration offers a new audience the chance to own a very special piece of design history. All of us at H&M have been so inspired to work with a female designer who spends so much time thinking about contemporary femininity, and womanhood, and who is so committed to excellence in craft and design, from the process of developing special fabrications to pushing silhouettes, shapes, and embellishments. Every garment within this collection is unique, special and the result of years of work and meticulous research.”
