This New Air Jordan 17 Collaboration Features a Chicago Bulls Colorway

After unveiling the upcoming Infinite Archives x Air Jordan 17 Low in a Mike Bibby-inspired colorway during Paris Fashion Week in January, brand founder Isimeme “Easy” Otabor has revealed a second style of the collaboration. While purple was the highlight color of the previously shared Infinite Archives x Air Jordan 17 Low, the latest pair shared by Otabor takes on a more Chicago Bulls-leaning look with red accenting across its TPU heel stabilizer. Elsewhere, the model’s Jordan-branded metallic heel accent appears in a copper color. Like the purple iteration, the recently revealed pair features a milky outsole and an Infinite Archives tag at the top of the ankle sleeve. Unlike the Sacramento Kings inspiration of the first pair teased by Otabor, further context wasn’t provided for the red style, though it presumably features a Bulls theme. Jordan wore the Air Jordan 17 and Air Jordan 17 Low while playing with the Washington Wizards during 2001 and 2002. A “Varsity Red” version of the standard Air Jordan 17 was released in ’02, but Jordan favored the “College Blue” and croc-adorned colorways, along with the “Lightning” Air Jordan 17 Low, on the court.
