It may not be quite Kansas City Chiefs red, but Travis Kelce has nonetheless found his sneaker for the lead-up to the Super Bowl. Kelce wore the unreleased Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 “Brick By Brick” for the Super Bowl LIX Opening Night, or “Media Day,” Monday. The forthcoming sneaker has an all-red upper intended to represent the work that’s gone into building Sylvester’s career, but it doesn’t look far off of Kelce’s team-issued gear either. For his appearance ahead of Sunday night’s matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, Kelce also wore a special edition Nike Tech Fleece suit bearing marks for the Super Bowl and Kansas City Chiefs. He also donned a New Era cap for the game with vintage styling. Although it leaked much earlier, Sylvester’s next Air Jordan collaboration was officially revealed during a New York City fashion show last month. The shoe will release March 14 for $225. In addition to representing the many brick buildings of New York City, Sylvester told Footwear News of the shoe’s significance: “This is a nod to the triumphs and the challenges, trials and tribulations throughout my career.
