New Balance’s Latest 14-Sneaker Made-in-UK Collection Leans Into Spring Style

Aside from the brand’s head-turning collaborations with partners such as Action Bronson, Joe Freshgoods and Salehe Bembury, much of New Balance’s design language is centered around neutral, earthy palettes. And while there are plenty of muted hues featured in the brand’s latest made-in-UK collection, the range also embraces the incoming warmer weather with pops of pastel. Made up of 14 different styles that will be released in the coming weeks, New Balance’s latest made-in-UK group highlights the brand’s 991v2 and 1500 models. Each is rendered in new seasonal shades and constructed at New Balance’s historic Flimby, England factory.  New Balance made-in-UK 991v2 in off-white (U991OW2). The centerpiece of the latest offering is the 991v2 model, an update to the original 991 silhouette, which was first released in 2001. Introduced in late 2023, the 991v2 updates the 991 with New Balance’s modern FuelCell cushioning and a revamped shape. For this spring collection, the 991v2 will be available in 8 different looks including tonal light green and light blue suede, brown/purple/green and tan/purple variations. As for the 1500, the retro running sneaker will be available in six new colorways. While not quite as colorful as the 991v2 options, there are spring-appropriate accents including hits of sienna
