Jalen Hurts Will Wear Air Jordan 1 Retro High ’85 ‘Bred’ Cleats During Super Bowl 2025

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High ’85 “Bred” is arguably the most coveted sneaker release of 2025 thus far. So it should come as no surprise when fans see Jalen Hurts, a Jordan Brand athlete — and one of the stars of its ongoing “Banned” marketing efforts — wearing a pair on the field during Super Bowl 59. The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback will have an “Unbannable” player edition (PE) cleated version of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High ’85 “Bred” laced up when he leads his team against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Specifically, the black-and-red pair Hurts will wear has a black rectangle over the lateral Swoosh branding, reminiscent of Nike’s “Banned” marketing that dates back to 1985. Also, the word “Unbannable” is on the heels of both shoes, along with a small, white Jumpman logo. Hurts’ logo appears on the right tongue and the Jumpman logo is on the left.
