At London Fashion Week Fall ’25, Footwear Gets Glam

A slimmed-down London Fashion Week schedule didn’t stop designers from going all-out with footwear. Simone Rocha and Dilara Fındıkoğlu went all out with embellishments. At Rocha, the designer spun her crystal-embellished socks into footwear — a sock boot, faux fur ballet flats that double as floor sweepers. With the collection inspired by schoolyard stereotypes, from jocks and cheerleaders to “emos” and nerds, there were a versatile pair of low-rise sneakers laced with lovely ribbons. Heels and sneakers were coated in silver pins, an edgy addition to practically couture-level looks. At Malone Souliers, co-creative directors Coco Fong and Valerio Bavaj’s high shine shoes, studded with crystals, sequins, and pearls, were inspired by textural Hitchcock films.
