An unexpected Drake sneaker hit the internet Wednesday in two colorways, but it’s a near certainty that the pairs won’t be released to the public. The shoes in question were a collaboration between the rapper’s October’s Very Own (OVO) imprint and Jordan Brand featuring two unreleased colorways of the Air Jordan 9. As typical of previous OVO Air Jordans, the shoes are fashioned in white and black-based colorways with accents of metallic gold throughout. Both of the pairs were shared by sample sneaker collector @ayeelectric_ on Instagram and feature premium leathers and translucent rubber outsoles, the latter of which display “OVO” logos.
