As Jordan Brand’s release calendar moves into August, its plans for the Olympics is coming into full swing. The early part of August will be dominated by Olympic-themed sneakers, be it the return of the Air Jordan 6 “Olympic” that’s released every four years since 2012 or a new colorway of the sneaker with gold accents. The Air Jordan 1 will also get a gold treatment, while the Air Jordan 39’s second colorway goes a more subtle route with a black and white look intended to the Paris skyline at night. Later on, brand-new colorways are in store for the Air Jordan 11 Low and Air Jordan 3. Fans of Travis Scott’s Air Jordan 1 Low will also be happy to see a close lookalike arrive with the in-house “Mocha” colorway debuting. Below, Footwear News takes you through all the Air Jordan sneaker releases coming in August. This post will be updated as more information becomes available.
