Adidas Originals and Craig Green Split the Stan Smith Down the Middle

Adidas Originals and Craig Green will release their collaborative take on the classic Stan Smith silhouette on Sept. 14. The partnership of the footwear brand with the British designer resulted in two new styles, the CG Boost Stan and CG Split Stan, both featuring innovative and fashion-forward silhouettes. The CG Split Stan challenges the traditional silhouette of a sneaker by splitting it in half, literally. A rubber protrusion sits in the middle of the sneaker, splitting the style down the middle. Revisiting iconography from Adidas archives, the footwear includes textural die-cut uppers situated atop a midsole and foxing created from Adidas’ Boost technology.
