12 Epic Celeb Outfits From the '90s and '00s I Want to Copy and Paste

Growing up in the ‘90s and ‘00s, it’s no surprise that fashion in the decades made a huge impact on me. Before the days of social media or much fashion coverage on the internet, I often found inspiration in magazines and the celebrity outfits featured there. To this day, many of those fashion moments have stuck with me and continue to inspire how I get dressed now.

So, which ones would I still repeat today? From Cindy Crawford’s leather blazer and jeans at the airport to Halle Berry’s iconic sunglasses to Sarah Jessica Parker’s mastery of an aught staple, there are plenty of cool looks I think are just as relevant today as the first time around. Ahead, see the ‘90s and ‘00s celebrity outfits that deserve to be worn again today and shop my edit of the best pieces to add to your wardrobe to replicate them. You just might find some new closet staples.

I'm not sure if there's anything that feels more '90s than ripped jeans. Here, Julia Roberts pulled them off in the most simple (but most stylish) way. I've been wearing a similar style on repeat and can't get enough of them.
If you needed any further proof to add a leather blazer to your wardrobe, just look to this perfect outfit on Cindy Crawford. It feels just as relevant now as it did back in 1991.
If you're looking for some cool inspiration for your loungewear wardrobe, look no further than Whitney's Houston's take on the track suit.
Is it just me or does this look exactly like something you'd spot Hailey Beiber wearing in 2020? The baseball cap, the oversize coat, the sweatshirt, the leather trousers—they're all here.
Perhaps one of the most iconic outfits to look to for holiday inspiration, you can't beat this feather-trimmed dress that Kate Moss wore in 1995. It's just as cool today.
Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy was a master of sophisticated minimalism and proves just how chic an all-black ensemble is, no matter what decade you're living in.
This reminds me so much of the outfit that Kaia Gerber wore on the F/W 20 runway at Bottega Veneta that it has to make me think that Brad Pitt's 1997 outfit helped to inspire what we saw on the runway. And yes, it's proof that style from the decade looks just as cool today as it did then.
In my opinion, this sunglasses shape will simply never go out of style. Here, spotted on Halle Berry wearing a pretty similar look to Brad Pitt's above.
Tube tops are a hallmark of the '00s and no one does them better than Sarah Jessica Parker. Simply add a pair of low-rise trousers and a shoulder bag for the ultimate throwback look.
Barely-there heels are one of my favorite shoe trends to emerge from the '90s. If you're looking for a similar pair to the ones Beyoncé is wearing, you're in luck.
I think about this cutout dress a lot. Now, it couldn't be more on-trend, so it's a great time to put this Ashley Olsen-approved trend for a spin.
Sunglasses might have been small in the '90s, but in the '00s they were supersized. Large frames were everywhere and are officially back again.
