All the Hair Accessories We Bought This Year—and Why We're Obsessed

Simply put, it's our job to find the best beauty products out there for you. From the newest serum to the hottest lipstick color to the dry shampoo that will change your life, we will find it, test it, and let you know what we think. We're not complaining. It's a pretty fun gig, and we'll volunteer to be beauty guinea pigs any day.

But one of the cool things to come out of this is finding out what products you're loving and buying. It helps us figure out what you want to learn more about and what you're into so we can bring even more personalized recs to you.

Because we share a lot of our favorites with you every single day, we recognize it might be hard to keep up. So we've decided to put together a handy weekly list of what we love and what you love—consider this a CliffsNotes, one-stop shop of what's really trending and worth adding to your cart at this very moment.

This week, we're talking about our favorite hair accessories. Take a look at what the Who What Wear universe (including editors, staffers, and readers) is obsessed with right now, and if you don't see a new favorite on this list, we'd love to know. Send us a DM.

Scrunchies are officially back in style, and I love them for both aesthetic and practical purposes. It's fun to get a little creative with your scrunchie colors and patterns. Plus, scrunchies are a lot easier on the hair than hair ties.
Treat your hair to this luxurious silk scrunchie. It's so gentle and soft on your hair and won't leave any dents or bumps.
If you don't want to wear the big scrunchies, you can tie your hair up with these mini versions. These come in a pack of six, so you've got a lot of color options, and you can even layer them in your hair.
I'm all about accessories these days. Hair clips are a great way to "dress up" for a Zoom call––as long as we don't talk about the pajama pants I'm wearing on the bottom. This set comes with 20 different clips for all sorts of looks.
The leather detail on these clips is so sophisticated and looks expensive. They come in black, too.
For a little bit of bling, add these rhinestone snap clips to your cart. Wear them layered on one side of your head or solo on each side.
The headband trend isn't going away, and quite frankly, I'm not mad about it. These pearl versions look so elegant but aren't a huge splurge.
I bought this headband set last year, and I've gotten so many wears out of each one. Whenever I want to give out duchess vibes, I pair one with my outfit. The colors are so versatile.
If you're not into the padded statement headbands, take a look at this thin one. The tortoiseshell style adds a little bit of personality.
I never thought I'd wear a claw clip again after wearing them almost every day in the late '90s, but here I am. When my hair was getting really long during quarantine, I would twist it up with a claw clip instead of using my regular hair ties. I found it caused less breakage and didn't feel so tight.
If you have darker hair, these will blend right in. Plus, they come in a pack of eight clips, which is handy because I'm always misplacing mine.
The tortoiseshell design in three colors is a nice detail and can go with a lot of different outfits. These are medium-sized, so they're good for half-up, half-down hairstyles.
Okay, okay, you're not exactly going to wear this hair accessory out and about (or even on a Zoom call), but that doesn't mean it’s not worthy of a mention here. If you've been air-drying your hair more these days, this will be your best friend. It absorbs water quickly, prevents frizz, and gets your hair dried faster.
With this two-pack, you'll always have one on hand after your shower. They’re big enough for long hair, too.
Twist and loop this microfiber hair towel to keep it in place while you wait for your hair to dry. It has a button in the back to keep it secure. Next up, the surprising thing I learned when I overhauled my hair routine.
