7 Fall Trends You Don't Want to Miss From Net-a-Porter's Epic Sale

With an epic Net-a-Porter sale happening right now with markdowns up to 70%, there is no better time to stock up on some amazing pieces. I recently covered the best summer finds from the sale (more on my edit here), but if you’re already looking to the season ahead like I am, you can check out all of the cool fall trends I’m eyeing from the sale.

Ahead, I’m highlighting seven major fall trends to buy from the Net-a-Porter sale—from new trend-forward basics to the bold color everyone will be wearing soon. What’s especially great about most of these pieces? They’re transitional items you can wear now but also for fall. If you have your eye on Bermuda shorts, wear them now with strappy sandals and a bodysuit. Then, add a pair of knee-high boots and a structured blazer a few months from now. Have your eye on a body-skimming dress? Pair one with kitten heels and a chain-link necklace now. Then, add a tailored trench coat for fall. Find my edit of the best sale finds ahead before they sell out.

Spotted on the F/W 20 runways everywhere from Jil Sander to Bottega Veneta, fringe stood out as one of the biggest trends for fall.
Perhaps one of the most wearable fall trends, cool cutouts will be taking over next season. These pieces are definitely the new takes on basics. You can try out the trend for yourself with pieces from the sale, whether you opt for a versatile bodysuit with a subtle cutout or a skirt with a more dramatic one.
Fuchsia is the bold color that popped up everywhere on the runway. If you're a risk-taking fashion person, wear it head to toe. But there are also subtler ways to work it into your wardrobe—like the ribbed Jacquemus sweater paired with white jeans below.
Yep, Bermuda shorts are here to stay, everyone. For fall, we'll be seeing leather versions take over. I can personally vouch for the pair from Frankie Shop, which I bought earlier this year. (See how I wore them here.) Now, they're marked down to $84.
Puffy, voluminous sleeves have been going strong as a trend for seasons now, and there is certainly no slowing down.
Get ready for the new neutral: gray. Spotted in an array on shades on the runway, it's the wear-with-anything color that will be replacing beige.
I never thought I would see the day when body-con dresses returned, but they're officially back. This time around, they have '90s-inspired silhouettes that lean into the heyday of minimal American sportswear.
